Mentoring and Leadership Development

Our Mentoring & Leadership Development program empowers youth and young adults to recognize their strengths, develop confidence, and become positive leaders within their communities. Through mentorship, skill-building activities, and real-world learning experiences, participants gain the tools needed to make informed decisions, overcome challenges, and pursue meaningful personal, educational, and career goals.
Reentry & Reintegration Support

Transitioning back into the community after incarceration can be challenging. SON provides reentry and reintegration support designed to help individuals rebuild stability, strengthen family relationships, develop employment readiness skills, and reconnect with positive community resources. Our goal is to reduce barriers, promote self-sufficiency, and support successful long-term outcomes for justice-impacted individuals and their families.
Community Outreach

Strong communities are built through collaboration, education, and connection. SON partners with schools, agencies, businesses, faith-based organizations, and community leaders to provide workshops, awareness campaigns, resource events, and engagement activities that address the needs of youth, families, and underserved populations. Through outreach, we work to strengthen communities, increase access to resources, and create opportunities for positive change.
Professional Training

SON offers professional training opportunities for educators, social service professionals, community organizations, and other helping professionals. Our trainings focus on topics such as youth development, family engagement, trauma-informed practices, justice involvement, community reintegration, and effective support strategies. Participants leave with practical tools and evidence-informed approaches they can immediately apply within their work and communities.
